Hyde900 - Hyde Abbey Garden work party

📅 Saturday 14 June 2025 ⏰ from 9.30am

📍 Hyde Abbey Garden, SO23 7DQ (in the grounds and car park of River Park)

Join us to help maintain the garden and ensure the area looks its best for the Winchester Garden Festival on 28 June 2025.

New volunteers are always welcome, bring gloves / gardening tools and stiff brushes if you have any as we'll be defining the paths and clearing moss from flints.

A day of community events in Hyde - visit Hyde Abbey Garden, take a tour of Hyde, plus environmental group activities, cakes, Jude's ice cream, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and an early evening barbecue with music. Free admission.

Hyde900 - Heritage Open Day

Medieval tile-making workshop - pre-booking opens on 8 August

An amazing opportunity to have a go at making tiles in the medieval manner!

Visitors will have the opportunity of choosing from a selection of patterns to use in the free tile-making workshop, open for all ages to take part. But be prepared to get your hands dirty! (For a fee, visitors can have their tiles fired and glazed for collection early in 2026.)
