Hyde900 invites you to brighten up the bleak midwinter with a jolly evening of entertainment, along with other Hyde residents.

Can you sing or play a musical instrument? Come along.
Do you have a favourite poem or short passage from a book that you would like to share?  Come along.

We would love you to join us for an informal evening of music and entertainment, with an opportunity to get to know the neighbours.

In an exciting new development Hyde900 has worked with local archaeology organisation WARG to investigate what lies beneath a garden in King Alfred Place which covers a key corner of the demolished Hyde Abbey. Volunteers were invited to take part and there was an open day to view the finds on Sunday 24th April.

The event proved to be a roller coaster of emotions for those taking part. Midday of the last day and the mood was sombre with little having been found. Then new information led to an amazing result. Time Team couldn’t have choreographed it better.
